My hemoglobin is up! i'm only moderately anemic now. Feels so much better. Today, i woke up early and worked. R's fancy espresso machine is so delightful. My latest go-to is an americano with steamed milk. I took a break at 2 and biked with R up to midtown to get my *wedding ring*. I didn't think I'd care about a ring but it's so pretty i think i'm going to love it. My first time out on a bike in a long time. Felt like I was flying. R went to his aunt's for dinner so now I'm working late and listening to a Toronto mayoral election debate. People seem pretty obsessed about property tax and do not want to talk about anything else. I love when i get to nerd out like this.

My brother and sister in law invited my sister and her kids to my niece's birthday on Sunday, and then they invited my parents, but they just didn't invite me. Maybe because I don't have kids they think i don't care? Hate it. I had to write to ask if we are allowed to go, and they have not responded. Why can't we just have a group chain that everyone uses? I will never ever stop being grateful for the home and the life that R and I are building together.
