egh, yesterday afternoon i had third in a succession of appointments where nurses and doctors prod at my ladyparts to extract my iud. It didn't work, and not only did I plan poorly and bike home muttering "ow" every block, but now they tell me they have to do it under general anesthesia. guh? So that is scheduled for november and should be both fun and expensive.

I had a moment of, 'ugh who will pick me up from the hospital' because i recognized that anyone I could ask would never have me on their list for a similar favour. Their favour lists are full of significant others and relatives and people who are not perpetually traveling and therefore not a good bet for a favour list. Anyway, I got over it and I'm sure someone will come get me if i ask and i'm not going to be a hero and take a cab all groggy.

Throughout the ordeal, i definitely had several waves of irritation with bt who doesn't have to go through any of this because no uterus, and is also not balancing 2000 things amidst gynecological excavations because unemployed, and is also not able to come and be of any assistance because unemployed. I can appreciate that not all of this is rational.

Also, let's not get too excited, i'm taking it out to put in another one, because that's the way it is to be right now.
