Up: omg! Lunch with friends! And even better: INDIAN FOOD with friends. These are more new friends that i'm courting (why am I courting all these new friends?? I'm moving!) and i made them all laugh with a great story I stole from my sister. She has way funnier anecdotes than I do.

Down: omg! It was so hot when i got home. 32 degrees celsius and *humid*. The radar said it felt like 38, which felt about right, but maybe it was hotter in my house. Completely enervating. I fled to my office, where i got ambushed by a committee member who is a cool friend but talks SO MUCH and just overwhelmed me with a lot of opinions on how I should structure the next chapter of my dissertation.

Up: omg! I got an email about a follow-up interview for a job in DC! It's scheduled for Wednesday...I had the first interview last week. Immediate nerves but also pride that i didn't fuck it up last week like I suspected.

down: omg! Are you kidding? I sent my advisor 100+ pages to read and he sent me back less than a half page of comments that showed he clearly didn't read more than the 2 page plain language summary. I am filled with rage. If i was a cartoon, my eyes would have gone black, then blood red, and then I would have turned into the Hulk.
