blargh, storm prep for Karen? This is the kind of thing that other people I live with usually deal with. This time I'm alone and I know that i should do more but I can't bring myself to get too concerned. Worst case scenario, we lose power for a while. I did charge my devices and made sure there were candles and matches leftover from the last hurricane. I know there's a can of beans somewhere. I'm pretty sure that if the power goes out I'll just go to a bar like everyone else in new orleans, then come home and systematically work my way through my freezer. Frozen corn, a package of sausage that one of the roommates left, and half a bag of cranberries. No problem.
