i am sipping a hot toddy, it is midnight and i am debating whether i should go down to meet my friends in the quarter, where there is undoubtedly music. and beer. but it feels nice here. i have about 10 windows open in my browser and i am trying to decide (for the fiftieth time) if i am an ENFP or and ESFP. And how that correlates with enneagrams. Fun saturday night, but actually, you know... it is. i'm nerdy that way.

Today was market and bike riding and fridge cleaning and wine drinking. I woke up and i could tell right away from the sun through my curtains that it warmed up overnight. Like twenty degrees CELSIUS! So grateful the weather had the grace to do this over a weekend, as it would have been sheer torture on a tuesday. I thought, "i love new orleans" (i'd been bracing myself for Grey Winter until February... I'd forgotten the way it does these little bonus days of t-shirt weather before it rains and drops down again. It's glorious. I went to parades in a tank top. IN DECEMBER. unbelievable. I am canadian enough to know that this is actually miraculous.
