temperature dropped today, plus it was raining. They don't like the cold, here in the south. Everyone hibernates inside. But it wasn't really cold...not to a canadian, anyway. I pulled out my rain pants and biked into work, and it felt like the city was all mine.
i sent out a few emails today, asking old friends for addresses. i'm going to send christmas cards this year. it seems like a nice tradition to get into. i love reading the cards my parents get from all over the world. no idea when i'll have time to make them... but i'll get there.
Still sunk into work, but getting into a rhythm with the writing. it's solitary, but i admit there's a certain satisfaction that i get when i look at a page i slaved over all day. academia? maybe i could get into it, after all.
