6:33 p.m. grad school is all worth it if i get to swim in the gulf of mexico every once in a while. * while overwhelmed, I am loving being back in school again. I spent today figuring out how to evaluate an imaginary T*B* Control Program in a refuge*e camp in Kenya and I loved it. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with this when I'm done but it feels like such a privilege to be learning things that I love to know about. A privilege i'm paying an obscene amount for, but a privilege nonetheless. I feel like I'm in a geeky international health club. * I randomly met some sidewalk Scrabble players on my way into a strange, strange show in a former opium den last weekend. How funny to meet a bunch of randos who just as excited as me at the prospect of GALAXY on a triple (!) [This is narcissa-code for "things are good"]
