a funny note from my sister, who lives way up in Northern Canada:

"It is generally considered rude to visit the small communities without
bringing Tim Hortons."

And so I picture all these people getting onto the little bushplanes in their parkas with a dozen doughnuts and a little cardboard tray of extra large double-doubles to take to the timmy's-starved populations out in the wilderness.
