please, I want this, I think my whole life used to just be this - me, waiting at a bus stop or wherever, watching the world go by and thinking life was magic.

I'm applying for a fellowship, trying to be open to new possibilities, trying to be more vulnerable. Why not. So now I'm working on personal statements about What I Care About and Why Me and other things that I generally avoid. But I used to think that the sky at dusk was magic and I used to be able to say why I do what i do. I used to be so earnest and I don't think it would be the worst thing to be a bit more open to that again.

Speaking of new possibilities, I have grated beets and I am going to mix them with kale and feta and some other stuff and make beet patties. Working through the never ending supply of farmshare beets. These are probably from April.

Getting very close to the 1 year anniversary of our wedding and I haven't sent any of my damn thank you cards. R of course, annoyingly, sent his in September, ugh, why is he so functional. Obviously it's better to be the less functional person in a relationship, but still.
