i just saw a bus go by with a massive, bus-sized advert along the side for an on-demand rideshare service ("commute easy"), which just seems like a defeatest way for our poor, terrible, malfunctioning, cash-strapped metro to make money. Why can't public transport be free? Is this not so obviously a public good? Ugh.
