i'm in Zambia for work. In and out with barely any time to absorb. There were some villages. They were isolated. Still thinking about that. I saw a lion when we were driving back to the city yesterday, which was Amazing.. i have always wanted to see a lion. It was a female, padding through the yellow grass, and she was so lovely and soft and powerful i wanted to pet her. I did not. We stayed in the car.

Walking back to the hotel from the office today, the sun was setting and the air was thick with smoke from everyone's fires. I could hear a choir practicing somewhere and they were incredible. The choral music in this part of the world gives me goosebumps just to think of it.
