My most recent emails are such a reflection on my life. I have received emails from friends all over the world (Berlin, Addis, Shanghai, Toronto, Nova Scotia, Brooklyn, Mozambique, San Francisco, New Orleans) offering advice on relationships and support for heartbreak. I needed every. single. email. They drifted in over days and they helped so so so much. I can't overstate. My friends are amazing. So much thoughtfulness and wisdom. I feel loved, which is needed right now. And also an email response to my request on whether my health insurance covers kidnapping for my next work trip, which will be to an occasionally insecure area. (It does not. Noted. Itinerary to be revised accordingly)
