oh my, long day. oysters and beer turned into one show and then a dance party and then it was all so much fun that we decided to skip the 2:10am ferry and just catch the 5:30am... long walk, with a stop at a diner on the way for some horrific nachos that are thankfully just a blur.

These are friends I have had many late nights with... I'm glad we pushed ourselves. It would have been worth it just for the slowly lightening sky as we skimmed along the water on the way home (although I guess you can get to that by just waking up at dawn).

Dragged myself out of bed after 2 hours of sleep and headed back across the water for the last time. Passed OUT on both plane rides and now I'm back in nola, which is thankfully not a sauna. Yet. There are termite wings all over my bed. One week til BT is here, and in 3 weeks moving to MTL for the summer.
