Im in a coffeeshop working on my own. The rest of the place is full of Filipinos in groups, talking and laughing. Theres a traveler-type girl sitting on her own to my left (traveler-type giveaways? Shes alone. Shes reading a book. Okay, really its because shes white). Im tempted to see if she wants to grab dinner later its Saturday night and Im going to have dinner alone - but I can see that her book has the word sin in it, so first I google it to make sure she isnt reading some kind of religions tome.
It isnt a religious book, but the exercise reminds me of all the things that could be painful about a whole dinner with a stranger and I decide to go to the gym instead.
