holy jesus, i'm reeling.

said goodbye to everyone at work, didn't cry. Just felt a bit empty.

Sat bleary eyed in the airport ALL NIGHT because of a ridiculous 3am check in/6am flight.

kuwait is sandy!! good thing they've got all that oil, cause i'm pretty sure they have to import anything foody that isn't related to camels. i made that up.

It's a gorgeous sight to see the country rising, golden, out of the ocean.

Met old friends from Guyana in London. Was that really five years ago? Ate a Real British Breakfast, including fried bread (?), bubble (??), and ... geh - BLACK PUDDING. But i had to try it. It doesn't seem that British people have SUCH bad teeth.

Went straight out to a soca night, got very drunk, and then headed straight to the airport because of another ridiculous early checkin/flight to Paris. In case anyone is wondering: I am a fucking trooper. And/or masochist.

Paris is so beautiful. I want to gorge myself on everything in every bakery i see.

Culture shock hasn't really sunk in yet, i think. I saw more boobs than I have in a year last night, but it was a caribbean soca fete.

Also, I'm not sure why, but I started crying on the train this morning when someone asked me for money.

i'm shaky, i admit it.
