man, i have NO self discipline. My parents sent me a bag of chocolate chip cookies and i've nearly finished the whole bag in three days. i'm serious, today i had cookies dunked in milk for breakfast AND for lunch.

i feel ill. but i still know that i'm going to go home and finish the bag for dinner. Gross.

Also gross is that i was at someone's house and i ended up watching Con Air. how much do i hate that movie? Nicolas Cage has that lame accent "ah sayed, drawp the bunny" and it's just so - ARGHH!!! - so lame. Thinking about it makes me cringe - for anyone associated with the film, and for myself, because i've seen it at least three times.

it rained. Not monsoon rain, just a tease. Kind of a collection of all the humidity in the air. Chaos ensued. Bad drainage system worsened by erratic garbage collection - so people chuck their garbage into the road, where it clogs the drains and just doesn't allow the water to move. Plus, the city is actually a chain of seven islands which has been turned into a single landmass by a steady landfilling process over the last decades. I, along with millions of others, live on land "reclaimed" from the water. No wonder it floods.

In one area, people got so mad about the water flooding their homes that they staged a protest (to whom? i don't know) by stopping the trains. Half the city didn't go to work this morning. My train stopped on the track for a long long time, and i got soaked in sweat - mine, and everyone else's. I counted at least sixty people in the 10 x 10 foot area i could see.

The really disgusting part is that you don't mind being totally sweaty, cause at least when the breeze blows in off the ocean, you get cooled down.

Blech. sweat. and stickiness. I bet NO ONE is having sex.

Apropos of nothing, the dating experiment is going well.
