whatever. sometimes you just have to shake up a list, and i can't stop listening to that 8 mile song. The paper's getting written, and that's all that matters.

Taking far too frequent breaks to do girly things... wax legs, paint toe nails, pull out jewelry. There's something satisfying about these rituals. Perhaps I'm just happy for the excuse to procrastinate.

To be honest, i'm almost happy to be finally writing this thing. I can't wait to be rid of the 60+ pile of journal articles that has graced my night table for the past month. Senior year project. Can't wait to cross that off the list.

Stopped at the LCBO for champagne and real wine, the highly recommended Wolf Blass "yellow label" Cabernet Sauvignon and a Hardys Riesling. And a 1.5L of cheap Chilean wine, cause let's face it... i'm not quite an adult. The student instincts are hard to shake, especially regarding alcohol and my pocketbook.

Big stress these days = jobs. I've floated a couple of resumes out there and i haven't heard back. eek. We shall see.

For now, I will toast the end of a good five years and the beginning of whatever it is that comes next.
